{Musings} Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn!

Hello Autumn! Today is the first day of Autumn and I couldn’t be happier. Autumn is my favorite time of the year with all of it’s rich colors. It means I can look forward to cooler weather (even rain!), eating pumpkin and apple pies, going to the pumpkin patch that has been a family tradition that began shortly after the birth of my son, jumping into a pile of colorful and crispy leaves, and a new tradition that I am starting this year — making caramel popcorn!

So, while I did really enjoy wearing flip-flops all day long throughout the summer, I happily bid farewell to the heatwaves that seems to increase in heat with every year here in the SF Bay Area.

    I love autumn too! We have a pesky little heat wave here though, so it’s 90 degrees instead of a crisp cool day! I can’t wait for cozy nights and rain :)
